يرتبط الزير في وقتنا الحاضر بإقامة المناسبات والحفلات وقد ارتبط قديمًا بالحروب حيث كان يستخدم لترهيب الأعداء وإشعارهم بجاهزية القبيلة لخوض المعركة. استخدمت الفنانة الحرق على القماش للتعبير عن الحياة كسطح يتفاعل مع التغيير، حيث يؤثر فيه اللهب ويقوم بتشكيله، فهو يرمز إلى تجاربنا وذكرياتنا وثقافتنا. يعبر العمل عن التناغم بين ثنائيات القوة والضعف والماضي والحاضر والألم والسعادة.

Due to its ancient association with both celebrations and wars, as it was used in weddings and also to imtimdate the enemies at wat. The artist used “Alzeer” and burned fabric to express a surface interacting with change, symbolizing our experiences and cultures. Exploring the harmony between the dichotomies of strength and weakness, past and present, pain and happiness.

يمتلك البقمي تساؤلات عديدة حول ما في الكون من تضاد وتكامل، ويبحث عن الجمال المتضاد في هذا الكون وما هو متناسق منه. يتأمل من خلال هذا العمل التباين بين الأحجام والألوان والظل والنور، يستقي من التناغم الموجود في الطبيعة ركائز التكامل النصفي بين آدم وحواء كمخلوقين يكمل كل منهما الآخر بما فيهما من اختلاف وتغيرات جميلة وملهمة على مدى العصور.

Albugami is filled with numerous questions about the contrasting elements in the universe. He seeks out the beauty that arises from these contradictions and explores the inherent coherence within them. contemplating the interplay between sizes, colors, shadows, and light. He draws inspiration from nature, which has a remarkable harmony, and views it as a foundation for the harmony between Adam and Eve as two distinct beings who, despite their differences and the beautiful and transformative changes they undergo throughout the ages, complement and complete each other.

"ما وراء الحدود؟ وماذا يجب أن أكون عليه حتى أعبر؟" يتساءل الفنان أحمد حداد باستمرار، ويرى أن الإنسان يبني الحدود ويهدمها في ذات اللحظة في كل مرة يتعامل فيها مع المجهول. يفسر الفنان توقفه عن إنتاج اللوحات قرابة سنة بأن الشخصيات في أعماله رفضت أن تتواجد خلف الحدود. في هذا العمل، تتسائل شخصياته بحرية الآن عن الحدود غير الملموسة بينها في إطار العلاقات وحقيقة النعيم بداخلها، وعن بريق القرب وصقيع الحجب والدهشة خارج الإطار.

What lies beyond the limits? And what should I be to surpass them?" ِAhmad constantly wonders, believing that humans both construct and demolish limits whenever they face with the unknown. The artist interprets his year-long hiatus from producing paintings as a result of his characters refusing to exist within limits. In this work, his characters question the intangible boundaries between them within the context of relationships and the truth of bliss within them.

تتحدث الأعمال عن الأسئلة العالقة في ذاكرة الإنسان دون إجابة مكتملة وكيف تقبل جهلها وأصبح النقص فيها مقنعاً أكثر من معظم الإجابات. يشكّل مفهوم التقبل والمجاراة دوراً مهماً في هذا العمل، بمثابة رضا تام بماهية الله في الغيب. استخدمت الفنانة ندى العلي الفوم كونها خامة صناعية بحتة تبدأ سائلة ثم تتكون وتنمو بشكل لا يمكن التنبؤ به، وألواح خشبية من الطبيعة قد أخذت شكلها النهائي دون أن يعرف أحد لماذا مالت أو استقامت.

The works explore the unresolved questions in our minds without full answers, and how accepting their ignorance has become more convincing than most answers. Parallelism play an important role in this work, serving as a complete satisfaction with the nature of the unknown. Foum, a pure synthetic material, was used. As It starts as a liquid and then forms and grows unpredictably. Also natural wooden panels were used which have mysteriously taken their final shape.
