It has taken me a while to build self-confidence and self-worth as an artist, but I find it motivating and encouraging when others are impacted by what I produce. I enjoy making portraits, characters, and landscapes varying from realistic to stylized cartoons. Digital painting and watercolors are my bread and butter, but I also can't ignore other yummy art media such as gouache, acrylics, and ink. I invite you to create your own stories from my work and feel that same kind of emotions that it elicits for me.
Ginko biloba, 2022, Best in Show for Video & Audio
Delia Williams was born in Beijing, China and resides in southern New Hampshire with her family. Gratefully, she was exposed to a variety of art media throughout her life, but grew more connected with watercolors, digital painting, gouache, and acrylics. Delia credits her family, friends, and teachers for encouragement and pushing her artistic skills further than she could believe. She also wants to shout out to the hundreds of artists on the internet that have influenced her artistic journey. If she had to pick a few, it goes to Mark Crilley, Camilla d'Errico, WLOP, kelogloops, Jen Zee, and Peter Mohrbacher.
Delia graduated from Champlain College in 2023 with a BFA in Creative Media, specializing in visual art and design, interaction design, and game art. She got several pieces of work accepted into Champlain’s Juried Student Art Show for all four years and even won two Best In Show awards for the respected categories. She had a few more works featured and sold in local art galleries and plans to apply to more. Delia currently does private commissions and runs a small online art business on Etsy. She hopes to expand her online store and eventually showcase her work at festivals and conventions.
