The Madhava Mathematics Competition is a nationwide annual event for undergraduate students in Science and Engineering streams in India, established to foster mathematical talent and promote interest in the subject. Named in honor of the 14th-century Indian mathematician Madhava, the competition is organized by Bhaskaracharya Pratishthana, Pune, and funded by National Board for Higher Mathematics. All undergraduate students (all streams including Engineering) are eligible to appear for the competition upto their 3rd year. The 4th year students (of any course or stream)  are NOT eligible to appear for the competition.
