This Privacy Policy describes how your information is handled when you use the Delhi Metro Yatra mobile application (the "App"). We are committed to protecting your privacy and ensuring transparency about what data is collected.
When using the core functions of Delhi Metro Yatra, the App operates completely offline. We do not collect, store, transmit, or share any of the following personal information:
Your precise or approximate GPS location.
Your names, email addresses, or phone numbers.
Your search queries, saved routes, or station selections. (The routing calculations between starting and destination stations happen entirely internally on your device using our offline database).
While our core app respects your strict privacy, we utilize third-party services to serve advertisements and help us maintain the app free of charge. These providers may collect certain device information to provide their services:
Google AdMob (Advertising) We use Google AdMob to display advertisements. AdMob may automatically collect certain device-specific information to serve targeted ads, including but not limited to:
Device identifiers (such as Android Advertising ID).
Basic geographic location (general area based on IP address).
Crash logs, diagnostics, and app performance data.

Because we do not collect personal data natively, any information automatically generated is used strictly by our third-party advertising partners to:
Deliver contextual and personalized advertisements.
Provide analytics regarding ad engagement.
Maintain network safety and prevent fraud.
The App currently does not request sensitive permissions such as Camera, Contacts, or Location permissions. It requires basic standard network permissions required purely to load the third-party advertisement banners.
Our App does not purposefully collect or solicit any personal data from anyone under the age of 13. While the App is a general audience tool (a public transit navigator), if you are aware that a child has inadvertently managed to provide us with personal information through third-party services, please contact us.
We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by updating the "Effective Date" at the top of this policy and publishing the new policy on this page.
