How to Delete Your OkCupid Account or Profile

1. Log In to Your Account

2. Visit okcupid.com or open the OkCupid app. Enter your login credentials to access your account.

3. Go to Settings

4. On the web: Click your profile icon at the top right, then select Settings.

5. On the app: Tap the profile icon, then go to Account Settings.

6. Find the “Delete Account” Option

7. Scroll to the bottom of the Settings page. You'll see the “Need a break? Delete your account” link. Tap or click this option.

8. Confirm Your Decision

9. OkCupid will ask you to confirm the deletion and may offer the option to “Disable” instead (which hides your profile temporarily). To permanently remove your profile, choose Delete Account.

10. Enter Your Credentials Again (if prompted)

11. For security, you may need to re-enter your password to complete the process.

12. Account Deleted!

13. Once confirmed, your OkCupid profile will be permanently removed, and you’ll no longer appear in search results.
