 Join us for the DELCO YOUNG DISCIPLES Season 3 Kickoff Event!

Season 2 of DELCO Young Disciples was unforgettable, and it’s all thanks to everyone who joined!

Here’s a quick recap of some of our favorite moments.

Thank you to everyone who joined our March Sunday Dinner with Jesus!

Young disciples joined Monsignor Albin Grous at St. Andrew the Apostle Parish for an engaging Faith Formation Talk on relics. 

Monsignor Grous answered questions like What are relics? And why do Catholics venerate them? The evening wrapped up with the first-ever Relics Information Scavenger Hunt, where participants explored fascinating relics from local parishes.

Thank you to everyone for participating in our January and February 2025 Service Projects!

We also donated a lot of cold weather items and pet supplies to Breaking Bread thanks to the generous donations of our DYD families, and we decided to continue to seek donations of pet food and supplies for Breaking Bread throughout our DYD Season. 

Thank you to everyone who attended February's Sunday Dinner with Jesus where we focused on the Bible and its teachings. Special thanks to Annunciation BVM for hosting us! 

DELCO Young Disciples participated in the Philadelphia Catholic Youth Conference at Immaculate College this past Saturday, November 24th.   Our teens joined with hundreds of teens across the Archdiocese to Encounter Jesus through prayer, Mass, fellowship, personal testimonies, and a whole lot of fun.   Thanks to Mary Catherine and Michael White,  Sean and Catherine MacGillivray,  Eliana Karasavas, and Lily Martinez for representing us well. 

Thank you to everyone who attended the first official "Sunday Dinner with Jesus" of DELCO Young Disciples Season 2! 

The DYD Kick-Off Mini Retreat was a heartwarming evening filled with faith, fellowship, and fun. 

Young disciples participated in a special Mass, venerated a relic of Blessed Carlos Acutis, shared a pizza dinner, prayed under the stars, and ended the night with s’mores. 

We’re excited to continue building connections and deepening our faith as we begin another wonderful year of events!

November 17, 2024: Sunday Dinner with Jesus @ St. Bernadette of Lourdes, Drexel Hill

October 20, 2024: DYD Kick-Off Mini Retreat @ Malvern Retreat Center 4-7 pm
