The Delano Tiger Dance Team is a competitive sports team that strives to promote leadership, personal responsibility and sportsmanship through a competitive and meaningful dance experience. Our team promotes peer mentoring, inclusive team experiences and constructive coaching. The dance season allows athletes to grow in the artistry of dance, while developing in to well-rounded young adults.

Fall Team
Fall Team
DTDT offers a fall team experience for all dancers, and is a great way to learn what our team is all about! During fall team, dancers will learn and perform multiple routines at DHS football and soccer games. If you are new to the team or a returning member, fall team is a GREAT opportunity to work on flexibility and skills for the upcoming winter season, while also bonding with future teammates. During fall you have the opportunity to perform the styles of Hip-Hop and Pom.

Winter Team
Winter is our favorite season here! The winter season for dance is our competitive season, regulated under the Minnesota State High School League. This team competes in the Jazz and Hick Kick divisions. We compete in three conference meets and five to seven invitationals. At the end of the season, we participate in the Section 3AA tournament, where qualifying teams go on to compete at the State level.

We want YOU! The Delano Tiger Dance Team has an opportunity to prepare to be a member of the DTDT. The girls will also have the chance to work on basic dance techniques such as kicks, turns, and leaps. So take a chance on being apart of something great, make lasting friendships, and celebrate the art of dance! Season begins April 11, 2023! Register below!

Come dance with us! Learn a fun, energetic routine to entertain the Tiger Fans at Delano’s Homecoming football game. This clinic is an exciting way for our younger generation to connect with the dance team, as well as the community. This has quickly become a favorite for the dance team and the younger dancers. You will get to showcase your fun routine, and your spunky dance moves on the football field. It’s a lively, fun environment, so be sure to register early to secure your spot! This clinic will be split for girls in grades K-3 and 4-6.
