Recruit and test participants in EEG studies using Neuroscan and Brain Vision EEG system; administer behavioral tasks using E-prime; code data for EEG and behavioral experiments using MATLAB and EEGlab.

Dr. Janet van Hell: Bilingual and Language Development Lab

Recruit and test child and adult participants for EEG studies investigating neural and cognitive processing; code EEG data using MATLAB and EEGlab; recording EEG in children at various schools in the area; train research assistants to run EEG experiments, troubleshoot Brain Vision EEG equipment.

Dr. Carrie Jackson: Second Language Acquisition Lab

Worked on ERP projects investigating sentence processing in L1 and L2 English speakers.

Tested children in a mobile EEG lab system at schools, recruited and scheduled participants, participated in outreach activities to explain brain research to children, trained undergraduate research assistants to run experiments.

Recruited and tested participants, utilized E-prime for behavioral tasks, marked and analyzed acoustic data in Praat, ran statistical analyses using SPSS.
