Monarch Collected Migration Behavior Module
This project analyzes the average number of Monarch butterflies observed at each recorded location from January through April during migration season. The data is transformed into a sonified audio-visual composition that reflects the decline in Monarch sightings and emphasizes the urgency of their population loss.
As the creative director of this project, I led the conceptual development, data translation process, and overall aesthetic vision. The work merges environmental research, sound design, and generative visualization to create an immersive representation of Monarch migration decline. By transforming statistical averages into audio and reactive visuals, I designed an experience that turns ecological data into an emotional and sensory narrative. The restrained sonic and visual variations intentionally reflect diminishing population trends, encouraging audiences to consider the impact of climate change, habitat destruction, and the need for environmental responsibility.
Project Description — The Raised EyeBrow Project
The Raised EyeBrow Project is a conceptual sustainable beauty prototype I created to explore ways to reduce cosmetic and household waste. I developed this project to investigate how beauty products and everyday objects could have longer life cycles through refilling, up-cycling, and sustainable material choices.
The concept proposes services such as transforming leftover makeup into new products, refilling used containers with eco-friendly alternatives, and using tools like 3D printing to extend packaging life. Through this work, I aim to imagine more circular, responsible systems for beauty consumption and encourage low-waste habits.
I enjoyed developing skills in SEO strategy, website design, and product development throughout this project. I also found the opportunity to model for my brand to be a rewarding and engaging part of the creative process.
Super Bowl Commercial Analyst
Provided Reset Digital Media with strategic feedback during the development stage of pre–Super Bowl commercials for Dexcom Medical and John Deere. Conducted audience and emotional response analysis to evaluate how the ads were likely to be received, offering insights to strengthen messaging, engagement, and overall campaign effectiveness.
BeanThere Team Project
Contributed to the development of BeanThere, an app helping remote and hybrid workers find ideal “third spaces” for productivity and connection. Supported social media strategy by increasing content output while maintaining strong performance, averaging nearly 600 impressions per post. Boosted brand visibility and community growth through direct engagement with major creators and coffee brands, generating meaningful interaction and expanded reach.
Role: Team Member
Analyzed peak engagement times to inform posting strategy and managed audience growth efforts by crafting clever, brand-aligned comments (using SEO and keywords) on creator and coffee brand accounts to attract new followers and increase page traffic.
Onward
Project Shares how children would be able to attend school virtually from the hospital, sitting in a classroom alongside their classmates and friends. Through immersive VR, they can actively participate in lessons, collaborate on group work, and stay socially connected during a crucial stage of their development.
Role: Lead Developer
As the Lead Developer, I oversaw the design and implementation of the VR platform—ensuring seamless real-time interaction, secure connectivity, an intuitive user experience, and reliable performance across both hospital and school environments. My focus was on creating a solution that was accessible, engaging, and dependable, enabling every child to continue learning and growing without interruption.
Sustainability Pilot Program
This breakthrough project will develop a sustainability pilot program to help local restaurants reduce waste, emissions, and environmental impact by providing research and practical resources. The focus will be on improving sustainability practices at Saucy’s Southern and Rollin ‘N’ Bowlin.
Role: Head Researcher of Strategy Development
My role in this project is to lead the research and sustainability strategy development. I am responsible for analyzing current practices at Saucy’s Southern and Rollin ‘N’ Bowlin, identifying areas for environmental improvement, and developing practical, research-based recommendations to reduce waste, lower emissions, and improve overall sustainability performance.
Echo Clip
This group project develops a compact, alligator-style clip with a built-in proximity sensor to detect overhead and above-waist obstacles that walking canes may miss. Designed for blind and visually impaired users, the device provides adjustable vibration or soft sound alerts, with the option to turn feedback off.
Role: Team Member
As a team member on this project, I contributed to the concept development, user-focused design strategy, and overall product vision. I helped research accessibility needs for blind and visually impaired users, guided decisions around functionality and form factor, and supported the development of a simple, intuitive interface to ensure the device is practical, discreet, and easy to integrate into everyday life.
Video Lookbook
This music video for Anika Erickson’s original song “Oyseter” explores themes of vulnerability, identity, and emotional resilience through intimate and symbolic visuals. The narrative follows Anika in moments that contrast childlike innocence with the harsh reality of written insults, highlighting the internal impact of negative words.
Role: Creative Director
As Creative Director, I established the conceptual framework and visual identity of the music video. I guided the cinematography, wardrobe, set design, and emotional pacing to ensure the visuals amplify the song’s themes. The restrained camera movement and intimate close-ups allow the performance to carry emotional authenticity, while symbolic styling reinforces the tension between vulnerability and resilience.
Bioinspired Network
The project will create a sustainability pilot program to help local restaurants reduce waste, emissions, and environmental impact by providing research and resources. The focus will be on improving sustainability practices at Saucy’s Southern and Rollin ‘N’ Bowlin.
Role: Team Leader/ Head -Researcher
As Team Leader and Head Researcher, I oversee the project’s direction, coordinate team efforts, and lead the research and analysis process. I am responsible for evaluating current sustainability practices, identifying key areas for improvement, and developing data-driven recommendations to support more environmentally responsible operations.
