Who Can Audition? Other Info:
Any Dekalb 8th-12th grader for the 26-27 school year who plays one of the following instruments:
flute
oboe
clarinet
bassoon
alto saxophone
tenor saxophone
French Horn
trumpet
trombone (euphonium considered also)
tuba
percussion
piano
harp
violin
viola
cello
bass
Other requirements are:
-Must be in good standing with their schools music program.
-Must attend rehearsals. See attendance policy under 'Policies and Procedures' tab.
-Starting with the 26-27 season, rehearsals will be on Monday nights. See 'Calendar' tab for all dates.
Auditions
Deadline: Tuesday, August 25th*
*Submit your audition by May 31st and tuition payment by June 30th for a $25 discount on tuition for the 26-27 season!*
Audition Material:
A 1-3 minute solo/etude demonstrating your skills. This can be an all-state etude, solo, or other prepared piece.
Instructions:
-Make sure to state your name and the title/composer of what you're playing.
-Upload your video to YouTube and email the link to: dekalbyouthsymphony@gmail.com.
-Fill out the registration form here.
