Welcome!
I am a postdoctoral researcher at the Università degli Studi di Genova, working on multiscale modelling of non-centrosymmetric and architected materials. My research combines mathematics, mechanics, and computation to develop advanced variational continualization models and Phase-Field methods for fracture and phase transformation in complex structures, including TPMS lattices.
I hold a PhD from IMT School for Advanced Studies Lucca, with a visiting period at the University of Nottingham working on additive manufacturing of architected materials. With experience across academia, engineering software development, and mathematics education, I am driven by the challenge of transforming innovative theoretical ideas into tools that can improve material performance and structural integrity.
My main interests are:
Applied and Computational Mathematics;
Differential Geometry;
Biomathematics;
Calculus of Variations;
Fracture Mechanics;
Markets and Economics;
