Meeting #95

The 95thd Educational Meeting was held on the 22nd July 2023 at Life Centre,Ridgeway Place.

Role Players:

• Toastmaster of the day - Komin Karunasekara

• General Evaluator –Mustafa Hamza

• Grammarian –Rajindh Gunathilake 

• Ah Counter – Innam Ismail

• Timer -  Anouki Perera

• Round Robin Master - Kalindu Senarathne

The meeting started with the President  welcoming all the Toastmasters. There were 6 new Guests present at the meeting, they were introduced to the club. Then the meeting control was handed over to the Toastmaster of the Day, Komin Karunasekara.

The Round Robin session was carried out by TM Kalindu where everyone present revealed the impact of music in thier lives.

Next, we had an amazing prepared speech by TM Bhagya Gunathilake with the topic of "Mountains are calling and I must go" where she gave her icebreaker.

The table topic session was held next. All the guests volunteered and spoke about various topics, we definitely found amazing speakers.

The meeting concluded with the guests sharing their experience of their first meeting at Dehiwala Toastmasters and how much they were able to enjoy and learn from the meeting.

Overall it was a very interesting and enjoyable meeting, which saw the active participation of all the members and guests present and everyone was definitely able to learn a lot! Looking forward to many more such meetings!
