Meeting #94

The 94rd Educational Meeting was held on the 8th July 2023 at Life Centre,Ridgeway Place.

Role Players:

• Toastmaster of the day - Sameul Arulanandan

• General Evaluator –Ragavi Ratnaranjan

• Grammarian –Dini Weerakkody 

• Ah Counter –  Thereen Dharmadasa

• Timer -  Mahdy Abdullah

• Round Robin Master - Saai Syvendra

The meeting started with the Vice President Education  welcoming all the Toastmasters. There were 5 new Guests present at the meeting, they were introduced to the club. Then the meeting control was handed over to the Toastmaster of the Day, Samuel Arulanadan.

The Round Robin session was carried out by TM Saai where everyone present revealed an intresting thing about themselves they rarely share. 

Next, we had an amazing prepared speech by our VP Education, Kehara Arsecularatne and TM Aanandi Vivekanadhan whom presented thier icebreaker speeches.

The table topic session was held next. All the guests volunteered and spoke about various topics, we definitely found amazing speakers.

The meeting concluded with the guests sharing their experience of their first meeting at Dehiwala Toastmasters and how much they were able to enjoy and learn from the meeting.

Overall it was a very interesting and enjoyable meeting, which saw the active participation of all the members and guests present and everyone was definitely able to learn a lot! Looking forward to many more such meetings!
