Meeting #90

The 90th Educational Meeting was held on the 29th of March 2023 via Google Meet.

Role Players:

• Toastmaster of the day - Abarnah Kirupananda

• General Evaluator –  Komin Karunasekara

• Grammarian –  Musthafa Hamza

• Ah Counter –  Musthafa Hamza

• Timer - Saai Syvendra

• Round Robin Master - Lehan Hewawasm

The meeting started with the Vice President  Membership welcoming all the Toastmasters. There were two new Guests present at the meeting, they were introduced to the club. Then the meeting control was handed over to the Toastmaster of the Day, Abarnah Kirupananda.

The Round Robin session was carried out by TM Lehan in a unique way that ensured everyone present at the meeting spoke about their wildest of imaginations.

Next, we had an amazing prepared speech by our VP Membership, TM Komin. titled "Left Righ Up Down Down Right Left Up Right Right Down Left". The title definitely grabbed the attention of the audience.

TM Abarnah then carried out a presentation on the topic, "Goal setting and planning". This session was insightful and we were able to gain a lot of experience from the speaker.

The table topic session was held next. All the guests volunteered and spoke about various topics, we definitely found amazing speakers.

The meeting concluded with the guests sharing their experience of their first meeting at Dehiwala Toastmasters and how much they were able to enjoy and learn from the meeting.

Overall it was a very interesting and enjoyable meeting, which saw the active participation of all the members and guests present and everyone was definitely able to learn a lot! Looking forward to many more such meetings!
