Meeting #81

The 81st Educational Meeting was held on the 26th of November 2022 under the theme "Books Talk"

Role Players:

• Grammarian – Ragavi Ratnaranjan

• Ah Counter – Gayan

• Timer – Rimesh Rimzan

• Round Robin Master - Ammar Jawfer

• Table Topic Master - Abarnah Kirupananda

The meeting started with an introduction to Toastmasters given by TM Husni Ameen . Next, role players began by explaining their roles and the word of the day, “bibliophile” was introduced. An interactive Round Robin session was carried out with the active participation of all the members as well as students present talking about their favourite book or book series.

There were 2 wonderful prepared speeches given, including an icebreaker speech given by TM Rimesh, who began his Toastmasters journey. A Table Topics session was held as well, all going in line with the general theme of books. It was great to see many students having the courage to take up table topics and deliver some amazing speeches.

The meeting was concluded with some of the students sharing their experience, about how much they were able to learn through the interesting session.

Overall it was a very entertaining and educative meeting, which saw the active participation of all the members and students present and everyone was definitely able to learn a lot! Looking forward for many more such meetings!
