Meeting #136

The 136th Educational Meeting , was held on the 8th February 2025 at Life Centre, Ridgeway Place , Colombo 04 .

The meeting started with the President  welcoming all the Toastmasters. There were couple of new guests present at the meeting, they were introduced to the club.  Adding to the excitement, we officially welcomed two new members into our Toastmasters family .Then the TMOD TM Naveen set the stage with his energy, followed by a creative round-robin session by TM Prince, where members shared how they aim to improve this year.

We then moved on to a series of inspiring speeches—TM Abishek reflected on navigating the challenges of the corporate world, TM Harini delivered a humorous speech with expressive comparisons between her past institute, where she studied, and her present institute, where she is studying, while Devin introduced himself with his icebreaker speech, earning the title ‘Perfect Devin.’

Adding immense value, TM Abarnah conducted a special session on the Successful Club Series, shedding light on meeting roles and responsibilities and their impact on a well-structured meeting in toastmasters. The creativity continued with a lively Table Topics session hosted by TM Kehara , featuring witty and inspiring speeches from members and guests.  

The meeting concluded with meaningful evaluations that provided valuable insights for our speakers.
