Meeting #120

The 120th Educational Meeting was held on the 27th July 2024 at Life Centre ,  Ridgeway Place,Colombo.

Role Players

• Grammarian -  Hasara Vithanage

• Ah Counter -  Yowan Ranaweera

• Timer - Aanandi Vivekanandhan

• Round Robin Master -  Anouki Perera

Our 120th meeting led by  TM Abishek, featuring an Olympic Themed meeting. The meeting kicked off with the Round Robin session done by TM Anouki prompting us to recall our athletic memories.

Next, we had speeches by TM Kalindu and TM Naflman respectively. TM Kalindu was talking about the four pillars of his life, each represented by a cherished family member and with that TM Naflman was transforming the stage into an open mic session using his "biological knowledge" about certain behaviours of men.

Nextly, Our TMOD TM Abishek organized a "fun" Olympic-themed hangman session, presenting questions that led us to the names of countries we hadn't even heard of which resulted in both teams to argue with each other turning the meeting into a parliament.

finally we had the table topic session, directed by our Table Topics Master TM Hasindu, showcased fascinating topics that inspired a series of outstanding table topic speeches.

The meeting concluded with outstanding evaluations, and our president officially adjourned the 120th educational meeting. We extend our heartfelt thanks to the visiting Toastmasters from IIT, as well as to all members and guests for their participation. We look forward to seeing you all at our 121st meeting.
