Meeting #105

The 105th Educational Meeting was held on the 2nd December 2023 at Life Centre,Ridgeway Place,Colombo.

Role Players:

• Toastmaster of the day - Mustafa Hamza

• General Evaluator –Hasindy Ranaweera

• Grammarian –Hasara Vithanage

• Ah Counter – Rajindh Gooneratne

• Timer -  Kehara Arsecularatne

• Round Robin Master - Anouki Perera

The meeting started with the President  welcoming all the Toastmasters. There were couple of new guests present at the meeting, they were introduced to the club. Then the meeting control was handed over to the Toastmaster of the Day,Musthafa Hamza where he brought the theme of the day "A Journey into the World of Unlimited Possibilities".

The Round Robin session was carried out by TM Anouki where she wanted everyone present to expose their favourite fantasy character.

Next, we had speeches by TM Hasara,TM Rajindh and TM Lehan respectively . Next the TMOD conducted a Q&A session on fun interactive session about fantasy book characters which was highly praised by the audience .

The table topic session was held next. All the guests volunteered and spoke about various topics, we definitely found amazing speakers.

The meeting concluded with the guests sharing their experience of their first meeting at Dehiwala Toastmasters and how much they were able to enjoy and learn from the meeting.

Overall it was a very interesting and enjoyable meeting, which saw the active participation of all the members and guests present and everyone was definitely able to learn a lot! Looking forward to many more such meetings!
