Meeting #104

The 104th Educational Meeting was held on the 25th November 2023 at Life Centre,Ridgeway Place,Colombo.

Role Players:

• Toastmaster of the day - Samuel Arulanandan

• General Evaluator –Abdullah Nawfer

• Grammarian –Mustafa Hamza

• Ah Counter – Hasara Vithanage

• Timer -  Komin Karunasekara

• Round Robin Master - Anouki Perera

The meeting started with the President  welcoming all the Toastmasters. There were 5 new guests present at the meeting, they were introduced to the club. Then the meeting control was handed over to the Toastmaster of the Day,Samuel Arulanandan where he brought the theme of the day "OLD IS GOLD" which brings out the olden age music taste.

The Round Robin session was carried out by TM Anouki where she wanted everyone present to expose their musical taste.

Next, we had a speech by TM Hasindu . Next the TMOD conducted a Q&A session on fun interactive session about old age music which was highly praised by the audience .

The table topic session was held next. All the guests volunteered and spoke about various topics, we definitely found amazing speakers.

The meeting concluded with the guests sharing their experience of their first meeting at Dehiwala Toastmasters and how much they were able to enjoy and learn from the meeting.

Overall it was a very interesting and enjoyable meeting, which saw the active participation of all the members and guests present and everyone was definitely able to learn a lot! Looking forward to many more such meetings!
