Meeting #103

The 103rd Educational Meeting was held on the 18th November 2023 at Life Centre,Ridgeway Place,Colombo.

Role Players:

• Toastmaster of the day - Abdullah Nawfer

• General Evaluator –Kalindu Senaratne

• Grammarian –Kehara Arsecularatne

• Ah Counter – Prince Dharmapala

• Timer -  Hasindu Ranaweera

• Round Robin Master - Anouki Perera

The meeting started with the President  welcoming all the Toastmasters. There were 5 new guests present at the meeting, they were introduced to the club. Then the meeting control was handed over to the Toastmaster of the Day,Abdullah Nawfer where he brought the theme of the day Cricket.

The Round Robin session was carried out by TM Anouki where she wanted everyone present to expose the time they got "timed out" in thier life.

Next, we had a speeche by TM Dini . Next the TMOD conducted a Q&A session on fun interactive session about Cricket and its current trends  .

The table topic session was held next. All the guests volunteered and spoke about various topics, we definitely found amazing speakers.

The meeting concluded with the guests sharing their experience of their first meeting at Dehiwala Toastmasters and how much they were able to enjoy and learn from the meeting.

Overall it was a very interesting and enjoyable meeting, which saw the active participation of all the members and guests present and everyone was definitely able to learn a lot! Looking forward to many more such meetings!
