Meeting #102

The 102nd Educational Meeting was held on the 4th November 2023 at Life Centre,Ridgeway Place,Colombo.

Role Players:

• Toastmaster of the day - Naveen Wijethunga

• General Evaluator –Dini Weerakkody

• Grammarian –Anouki Perera

• Ah Counter – Hasindu Ranaweera

• Timer -  Prince Dharmapala

• Round Robin Master - Hasara Vithanage

The meeting started with the President  welcoming all the Toastmasters. There were 3 new guests present at the meeting, they were introduced to the club. Then the meeting control was handed over to the Toastmaster of the Day,Naveen Wijethunga whom conducted the meeting with the Tree analogy.

The Round Robin session was carried out by TM Hasara where everyone present revealed thier immediate goals and dreams to be achieved.

Next, we had  speeches by TM Samuel,TM Dini and TM Kalindu . Next the TMOD conducted a Q&A session on general topics which had a very high engagement level.

The table topic session was held next. All the guests volunteered and spoke about various topics, we definitely found amazing speakers.

The meeting concluded with the guests sharing their experience of their first meeting at Dehiwala Toastmasters and how much they were able to enjoy and learn from the meeting.

Overall it was a very interesting and enjoyable meeting, which saw the active participation of all the members and guests present and everyone was definitely able to learn a lot! Looking forward to many more such meetings!
