June 2024 Group alum Kamal Sharma's paper on measuring quantum correlation functions in superconducting circuits just went live on the arXiv:
November 2023 Congrats to Victor and Kamal! Their new arXiv paper explores the emergence of superradiance in a quantum wire. This work was done in collaboration with Prof. Mohammad Hafezi at the University of Maryland.
November 2023 A new arXiv paper describing a recent experiment performed in the Deshpande group at U. of Utah is online. Conductance measurements reveal oscillations in the energy spectrum of carbon nanotubes. This work was done in collaboration with the Minot group at Oregon State and our group. The theory presented in this paper, completed here at TTU, attributes these oscillations to the combined effect of velocity asymmetries between particle and hole bands and strong interband coupling at the ends of the nanotube.
March 2023 Kamal Sharma, Victor Bradley, and Wade DeGottardi are part of the team representing Texas Tech at APS March Meeting in Las Vegas.
February 2023 A joint collaboration between our group and Konstantin Matveev at Argonne National lab on viscosity in low-dimensional quantum systems now appears on the arXiv.
