Are dogs allowed?
Yes, on a leash! Please clean up after your pup.
Please note that there are four young cats that live outdoors on the farm.
Do you have any animals?
Two young cats are on the farm. They are outdoor cats and can roam as they please. Farm cats are wild.
Frequently seen animals:
Deer (2-5 of them) -- evenings.
Turkey (6-7 of them) -- grazing for food.
Sand Hill Cranes (3 of them) -- they squawk very loudly!
What should I wear?
Degler Farm is weather dependent. All activities are outdoors. Please dress accordingly. Wear outdoor tennis shoes. Fall weather can become cool in evenings. There is walking on grass, gravel, open dirt, and a hay field. Terrain is uneven! Boots are recommended for wet weather (especially in corn maze after a morning rain or heavy dew)! Hayride or combine ride may be closed when large amounts of rain occur.
Can I go Pick My Own Pumpkin (from the patch)?
No. Pumpkins are planted at different times to optimize growth. Degler Farm plants and grows our own pumpkins on site and pick pumpkins when ripe. These are hand delivered to the yard. There are certain varieties that get harvested first and some much later. The patch rotates from year to year, so remember the patch is still growning when you see pumpkins in the field.
Are all activities open?
We are an active farm. We are weather dependent and employee dependent. Activities such as trebuchet, air cannon, and combine ride may be limited if employees are not available. This is rare, but can happen as all employees have families and we are actively harvesting in the fall. Please be patient and communicate with us if you have questions! We try to accommodate to offer the best possible experience!

We host groups of all sizes. Limited availability on dates (dependent upon size of group). Let us know so we can reserve tables and have appropriate employees available. Special planning is needed for groups 50+ people)
Birthday Parties: 3-5 large tables are available with hay bale seating under a large tent! Adjacent to corn pit! Families are welcome to bring cake and open presents. A coordinated hayride can be set-up and is recommended to do first as many other farm activities are "at your own pace". Please supervise your children. Call: 952-807-8760.
Are there group rates?
Yes. Rates are often a per person basis. Flexibility is considered based upon group goals and activities that are desired to participate in. Down payments lock your date on the calendar and helps prevent double booking. Consider if your group will be splitting the cost (group pays half, and individual pays half).

Food?
Yes! Pizza & Drinks are available for purchase on weekend operations of the festival. Ask for pricing to include this to your group's reservations! We do not allow coolers & outside food to be brought to our farm. No food in corn pit.
