Joseph DeGaetani
Assistant Professor of Mathematics
SUNY Oswego

I am an Assistant Professor of Mathematics at SUNY Oswego.

I am set to obtain my PhD from the University of Delaware under the supervision of Dr. Mahya Ghandehari in Summer 2024. Prior to this, I obtained an MS degree in Spring 2018 from Montclair State University in Montclair New Jersey under the supervision of Dr. Deepak Bal. I also hold a BS in Mathematics along with a BA in Secondary Education from William Paterson University.

My research interests are in abstract harmonic analysis, Fourier analysis, and combinatorics. I’ve always had a deep passion for teaching, stemming from leading private martial arts classes in my youth.
