PRIVACY POLICY
Deflate! Privacy Policy
Effective date: 9/25/2026
This Privacy Policy explains how [DEVELOPER OR COMPANY NAME] ("we", "us", "our") handles information when you use the mobile game Deflate! (the "App") on Android devices. By using the App, you agree to the practices described in this policy.
Summary
Deflate! does not require an account, and we do not ask for your name, email address, phone number or other contact details to play. Your game progress and settings are stored only on your device. The App shows advertisements through Google AdMob, a third-party advertising service provided by Google. AdMob may collect and process certain device information as described below.
Information stored on your device
The App saves the following on your device so you can continue where you left off:
Game progress, such as unlocked levels, stars earned and best scores
Game settings, such as sound, music, camera motion and vibration preferences
This information stays in the App's private storage on your device. We do not receive or collect it. Uninstalling the App or clearing its data permanently deletes it.
Advertising (Google AdMob)
The App uses Google AdMob to show ads. When ads are requested or shown, Google may automatically collect and process information from your device, including:
Device identifiers, such as the Android Advertising ID
IP address, which may be used to estimate your general (approximate) location
Device and app information, such as device model, operating system version, language, app version and screen size
Ad interaction data, such as ads viewed, clicked or skipped
Diagnostic and performance data, such as crash logs and ad load times
Google uses this information to deliver, measure and improve ads, to limit repetitive ads, to detect fraud and abuse, and, where permitted and where you have consented, to show personalized ads based on your interests.
We do not control how Google collects or uses this data. For details, see:
How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services: https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites

Consent (EEA, UK and Switzerland)
If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, the App will ask for your consent before personalized ads are shown, using Google's User Messaging Platform or a certified consent management platform. You can accept or decline personalized advertising. If you decline, you may still see non-personalized ads, which rely on contextual information such as the app content and your approximate location, and may use limited data for frequency capping, fraud prevention and measurement. You can change your choice at any time using the privacy options in the App [DESCRIBE LOCATION, FOR EXAMPLE: Settings > Privacy options].
Your choices and how to opt out
Opt out of personalized ads: on most Android devices, open Settings > Google > Ads (or Settings > Privacy > Ads) and select "Delete advertising ID" or "Opt out of Ads Personalization".
Reset your advertising ID: you can reset it at any time in the same menu.
Manage consent: use the privacy options in the App, where available in your region.
Delete local data: uninstall the App or clear its storage in your device's app settings.
Information we do not collect
The App itself does not:
Require you to create an account or sign in
Ask for your name, email address, phone number or contacts
Access your photos, camera, microphone or precise (GPS) location
Sell your personal information
Offer in-app purchases or process payments
Third-party services
The App uses these third-party services, which may collect information under their own privacy policies:
Google AdMob (advertising): https://policies.google.com/privacy
Google Play Services (app delivery, updates and the advertising ID): https://policies.google.com/privacy
Children's privacy
The App is not directed to children under the age of 13 [OR THE MINIMUM AGE IN YOUR COUNTRY], and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided personal information through the App, please contact us and we will work with you to address it.
Data retention
We do not store personal data on our own servers. Progress and settings stored on your device remain until you delete them or uninstall the App. Data collected by Google through AdMob is kept according to Google's retention policies.
Data security
Game data is kept in the App's private storage on your device, where other apps cannot access it under Android's security model. Data sent to Google for advertising is encrypted in transit. No method of electronic storage or transmission is completely secure, but we use reasonable measures to protect information.
Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights under laws such as the EU and UK General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) or the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CCPA/CPRA). These can include the right to access, correct or delete personal information, to object to or restrict processing, to withdraw consent, and to opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. We do not sell personal information for money. Because we do not hold personal data ourselves, most requests about advertising data are best handled through Google's tools and the opt-out options above. You may also contact us, and we will help where we can.
International data transfers
Google may process information collected through AdMob in countries other than your own, including the United States. Google provides safeguards for such transfers as described in its privacy policy.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time, for example when we add new features or third-party services. We will post the updated version on this page and change the effective date above. Continuing to use the App after changes are posted means you accept the updated policy.
