Local photographer, Radek Smolik (Smolda) has been a society member since 2019. He began photographing scenes and nature around Defiance since moving from the Czech Republic in 2005. A long-term member of the society, Liz took classes with artist Roger Nofsinger. She took time away to raise six kids and work, but is back to creating. She enjoys painting with acrylics and focuses on landscapes and floral pieces.

Kate started painting recently after taking a few classes and has been trying to hone her skills ever since. As a teacher and mom to three, she finds studio time relaxing and much-needed. Her pet paintings are available for commission by contacting her at 419-576-2903 or kate.smolik@gmail.com

Artist Staci Kauffman paints in watercolor and acrylic. She is a retired Northwest Ohio school administrator and now pursues her life-long interest in painting. Her business name is Libra Palette, and her work can be found at Ruby Rose Market, Defiance, and The Wassenberg Art Center, Van Wert, Ohio.
