De La Haye was born from Donald and Sheron De La Haye. He was born in Costa Rica, then Dee and his parents immigrated to America. He grew up in Port St. Lucie, Florida. He grew up and had an idol football player, Matt Prater.
Dee went to UCF (University of Central Florida). He played college football there as well to pursue his dream of becoming a football player. In 2017, De La Haye had to make the decision of either cancelling college football and keep creating content, or keep continuing football and having the university demonetize all of his videos. He followed his own path and canceled his college football scholarship to make content for his fans.
