Welcome to Deer Creek Middle School! Our PTO has a tradition of upholding and advancing the academic and social efforts of the school by supporting classroom teachers, hosting social and informational events for children and community members, and raising funds to cover the off-budget needs of the school. Although core funding for Deer Creek Middle School comes from Jeffco Public Schools, this organization provides supplemental funding for learning and teaching supplies, equipment, and additional instructional and support personnel.
To find out more about upcoming events and how you can get involved, please email us at DeerCreekPTO1@gmail.com.
Help Needed for the 26/27 Deer Creek PTO!
As we begin the final trimester of the school year, we’re looking ahead to fill open PTO positions for the 2026–2027 school year. The PTO at Deer Creek supports teachers in the classroom, raises funds for educational materials and experiences,
fosters school and family engagement, and provides a neutral platform for discussing issues that impact our children.
Several current PTO volunteers have students moving on to high school, creating opportunities for new volunteers to step in and make an impact. Below is a list of the team for next year with current open opportunities. You can visit the 2026-27
DCMS PTO Roles and Responsibilities for more detailed descriptions. Feel free to email deercreekpto1@gmail.com if you would like to learn more!

Annually, we look to fill all vacancies on our Executive Board and Committees. Board positions are year-round positions that are involved in many aspects of running the PTO. Committee Coordinator positions may be year-long or concentrated to one specific event.
If you aren't able to commit to a Board or Committee leadership position, but still want to help, consider joining a committee that interests you! We have many committees – some work year-round, while some focus on a single event during the year.

As committees plan events, there's often a need throughout the year for additional volunteers to support an individual event. For example, we may need volunteers for a Social or to help donate time or items for a Teacher Appreciation Lunch.
These volunteer opportunities will be communicated on the PTO website, as well as through school emails and PTO newsletters. You can also email us if you are interested in helping!
Support Deer Creek and have fun, too! Whether it's rockin' and rollin' at SkateCity or making dinner prep a breeze, let them know you're supporting Deer Creek, and a portion of the sale will be donated to our school. Mark your calendars for our remaining 25/26 spirit nights:
March 18: Mad Greens
April 30: Skate City
