Tuesdays, September 1, 8, 15, 22, and 29 from 3:30-5:00 p.m.

Looking for something to do after school? Stop by the library on Tuesdays between 3:30 and 5 p.m.  for a free snack and a different drop-in activity each week! Stay for a few minutes or the whole time. No registration required.

Friday, September 4 and 11 from 10-10:30 a.m.

Join us for a fun-filled storytime featuring stories, sign language, singing, and bubbles! After storytime, stick around for a fun activity or craft. Open to ages 0-5. Older siblings are welcome.

Monday, September 7 through Friday, September 11

Search for hidden images throughout the library, and once you’ve found them all, claim your fun sticker as a prize. Fun for all ages—drop in anytime during open hours all week long!

What: Coffee and Community

Join us this month for delicious, complimentary fall coffee drinks. Plus, every attendee will be entered into a drawing to win a fun fall-themed gift! Come sip, connect, and enjoy some time with your neighbors or make a few new friends.

When: Wednesday, September 9 from 10:30-11:30 a.m. (2nd Wed. of every month)

Where:  Deer Creek District Library 205 E. 1st Ave Deer Creek, IL

Thursday, September 17 from 5:30-7:00 p.m.

Create a custom design for your tumbler, notebook, water bottle, or other smooth-surfaced item using the Library's Cricut machine. Choose from ready-made designs or personalize your own with help from the instructor. No experience is needed—just bring an item to customize and leave with a unique creation! Call the library to sign up, 309-447-6724. Space is limited to 15 participants.

Friday, September 18 from 10-10:30 a.m.

Calling all caregivers and little ones! Join us for a fun morning of play, conversation, and connection. Kids can enjoy toys and coloring while caregivers relax with complimentary coffee or tea and connect with others. All caregivers are welcome—come play, chat, and make new friends!

Monday, September 21 through Friday, September 25

Fall is just around the corner! Pick up a Take & Make kit and create your own cute ladybug to celebrate the changing season.

Thursday, September 24 from 5-6:30 p.m.

Bring your gently used Halloween costumes to the library and swap them with other community members! You’re welcome to drop off costumes before the event. You don’t need to bring a costume to participate—everyone is welcome to join in the fun! Any unclaimed costumes will be donated. Open to all ages.

Friday, September 25 from 10:30-11:30 a.m.

Zumbini is an early childhood development program focused on music & movement for children ages 0 to 5 years, to attend with their music-loving (Zumba loving!) caregiver(s). Older siblings are welcome. Caregivers must remain present.
