What: Storytime
Get ready for stories, singing, sign language, and bubbles! This engaging storytime is perfect for children ages 0–5, and older siblings are welcome to join the fun. Don’t miss this lively and educational experience!

Pick up a wooden disk from the library and create your very own miniature jack-o’-lantern masterpiece at home! Paint it, color it, bedazzle it—get as creative as you like. Then use your finished pumpkin to decorate for the season. Available while supplies last!
Tuesday, October 7 from 4-6 p.m.

What: Coffee and Community
Join us on the second Wednesday of every month at 10:30 AM, as we host Coffee and Community! Enjoy complimentary coffee and tea while socializing with fellow community members. This month, we’re serving up the ultimate fall treat — Apple Cider Floats! Enjoy complimentary coffee and tea while trying seasonal favorites, including fall-flavored K-Cup coffees and hot chocolates.

Ages 13+ are invited to join us for an evening of mystery and fun at the library. Choose between solving thrilling "Unsolved Case Files" or diving into the world of "Criminal Minds." Join Miss Arla for a fun storytime and engaging lessons about kindness, manners, and making new friends. Perfect for ages 2–5, with older siblings welcome too!

All week long, stop by the library and take your best guess at how much candy is in the container! The person with the closest guess wins the candy, the container, and a fun Fall-themed ceramic tumbler. Don’t miss your chance to win a sweet prize!

Celebrate the season with creativity! Create a silhouette painting inspired by colorful fall leaves and the creatures of the forest and sky that we see this time of year. Stop by anytime between 3:30-5:30 p.m. All ages are welcome.
Thursday, October 23 from 5:30-7:30 p.m.
Learn how to turn simple ingredients—flour, water, and salt—into delicious, crusty loaves using wild yeasts and bacteria. This hands-on class covers the full sourdough process, and you'll take home your own starter to keep baking for years. The cost for this program is $10 per person (includes one jar of sourdough starter and class materials). Zumbini is an early childhood development program focused on music & movement for children ages 0 to 5 years, to attend with their music-loving (Zumba loving!) caregiver(s). Older siblings are welcome. Caregivers must remain present.
Wednesday, October 29 from 3:30-5:30 p.m.
Design your own Fall or Halloween-themed creation, then take it home to attach it to a magnet, keychain, hair clip, phone case, greeting card, or more. The possibilities are endless!

If you are unable to make it during the open hours, don't forget that you have access to lockers outside the library 24/7. You can still request library items and then pick them up from the lockers.
