Wednesday, November 26 through Friday, November 28
The book drop is available 24/7. You may return Deer Creek Library items, or items from other libraries as well. If you're unable to pick up any book requests before Tuesday, November 25, please give us a call (309-447-6724) and we can put them in our Pick-up Lockers outside the library. Then you're able to pick up your books at a time that's convenient to you. Happy Thanksgiving!
If you currently use the Boundless app to access ebooks and audiobooks, please be aware that the app will soon be discontinued.
This change is a result of the recent and unexpected closure of Baker & Taylor, the company that operates the Boundless platform. As a result, the eRead Illinois collection hosted on Boundless will no longer be available through this app.
Transition schedule:
Now - Holds suspended on Boundless. Make a list of your pending titles!
Nov. 2 - Last day for checkout
Nov. 17 - Boundless App Defunct
Dec. 2 - The Palace Project app launch!
We will share updates and alternative options for accessing digital materials as soon as they become available. In the meantime, you may continue to use Libby for ebooks and audiobooks. Thank you for your patience and understanding as we navigate this transition.
