Sign up for Summer Reading starts Tuesday, May 26th! You can join anytime during the program, but signing up early gives you more time to collect weekly prizes! Summer Reading at the Deer Creek Library is open to all ages. You can start reading early, but the first week we track is May 31 through June 6. This year’s summer reading theme is Plant a Seed, Read! Programming runs Monday, June 1 through Friday, June 26.
The iREAD organization shares, "Plant a Seed, Read is rooted in the concept of farm to table. A farm grows food that nourishes our bodies; a library grows ideas that nourish our minds. Both food and stories connect us to our family, culture, economy, and ecology."
