Summer Reading Program
Summer Reading Program
Sign up for Summer Reading starts Tuesday, May 27th! You can join anytime during the program, but signing up early gives you more time to collect weekly prizes! Summer Reading at the Deer Creek Library is open to all ages. New incentives and prizes are available to adults this year.
Our theme for 2025 is Level Up With Your Library which emphasizes engagement through puzzles, games, and interactive learning experiences. We have so many amazing events planned! Take a look at our Summer Reading 2025 page for the full list.

Coffee and Community
What: Coffee and Community with Betty Rock
Join us on the second Wednesday of every month at 10:30 AM, as we host Coffee and Community! Enjoy complimentary coffee and tea while socializing with fellow community members. This month a community member shares her personal journey as a WWII refugee from Germany, with family stories and historic photos of Russian bombings.
When: Wednesday, June 11th @ 10:30 a.m. (2nd Wed. of every month)

Monday – 10:00 am to 5:00 pm
Tuesday – 11:00 am to 6:00 pm
Wednesday – 10:00 am to 5:00 pm
Thursday – 11:00 am to 6:00 pm
Friday – 9:00 am to 2:00 pm
If you are unable to make it during the open hours, don't forget that you have access to lockers outside the library 24/7. You can still request library items and then pick them up from the lockers. To have items placed in the lockers for pick up, please call or email the library, 309-447-6724, dcpatrons@gmail.com
