Monday, February 2 through Friday, February 6
Stop by the library during open hours February 2-6 to pick up a Take & Make kit! Create your own robot-themed Valentine card, give your robot character a unique personality, and write a fun Valentine message inside to share with friends or family. Open to all ages.
Friday, February 6 and 20 from 10-10:30 a.m.
We'll have stories, sign language, singing, and bubbles! Open to ages 0-5. Older siblings are welcome.
Monday, February 9 through Friday, February 13
Stop by the library during open hours to pick up a scavenger hunt that inspires you to find and share acts of love and kindness! Complete the challenges, then tell us about your discoveries to receive a special sticker. Open to all ages.
What: Coffee and Community
Join us for a warm cup and friendly conversation! Enjoy complimentary coffee, tea, and hot chocolate while connecting with fellow community members.
When: Wednesday, February 11 from 10:30 -11:30 a.m. (2nd Wed. of every month)

We’re excited to host a special Storytime featuring local author Shelby Viguier! Shelby will be sharing her newly published children’s book, Fearlessly and Profoundly Deaf, a heartfelt and empowering story that celebrates identity, courage, and inclusion.
Copies of the book will be available for purchase at the event for $20. Join us to enjoy a wonderful story and support a local author in our community!

The book drop is available 24/7. You may return Deer Creek Library items, or items from other libraries as well. If you're unable to pick up any book requests by Friday, February 13, please give us a call (309-447-6724) and we can put them in our Pick-up Lockers outside the library. Then you're able to pick up your books at a time that's convenient to you.

Zumbini is an early childhood development program focused on music & movement for children ages 0 to 5 years, to attend with their music-loving (Zumba loving!) caregiver(s). Older siblings are welcome. Caregivers must remain present.

Checking out our new Toniebox and characters just got easier! All characters are downloaded and ready to go. Once you check out a character with our Tonie box, turn it on and set a character on top. No need for wifi connection! Ready to travel with in the car!
If the box or character you're interested in is checked out, we can place a hold so that you can check it out as soon as it's available.

If you are unable to make it during the open hours, don't forget that you have access to lockers outside the library 24/7. You can still request library items and then pick them up from the lockers.
