deepsafer Authenticator ("the App") is an open-source two-factor authentication application. We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting it.
The App does not collect, store, or share any personal data.
No Internet Access: The App does not request the Internet permission (android.permission.INTERNET). It is technically impossible for the App to send data to the developer or any third party.
No Analytics: The App does not contain any third-party analytics or tracking SDKs (e.g., Google Analytics, Firebase, Facebook SDK).
No Account Required: You do not need to create an account to use the App.
Local Storage: All your data (2FA tokens, settings) is stored securely and encrypted on your device.
Backups: If you choose to create backups, they are stored in the location you select (e.g., your device's internal storage or a cloud storage provider app installed on your device). You have full control over where your backups are stored.
The App requests the following permissions for specific features:
Camera: Required only if you choose to scan a QR code to add a new token.
Biometric Hardware: Required only if you choose to secure the App with biometric authentication (fingerprint/face unlock).
