This Privacy Policy explains how DeepFocus Study (“the App”) collects, processes, and protects information. DeepFocus Study is a learning productivity application designed to help users collect educational materials, organize knowledge, and improve long-term retention through structured study tools.
The App combines research organization, study analytics, and optional AI-powered assistance in a unified workspace.
By using DeepFocus Study, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy.
DeepFocus Study does not require account registration to access its core study tools.
The App may process the following categories of information entered or generated by the user.
Users may save or import educational content including:
Web links
Articles
PDF documents
Scanned printed materials using OCR
Uploaded images containing diagrams or notes
These materials are stored for personal study and organization.
The App may store:
User-created notes
Mind maps and concept connections
Keywords and definitions
Audio recordings and transcriptions
Flashcard decks and spaced-repetition data
Quiz questions and answers
To provide progress tracking, the App may record:
Focus timer sessions
Study duration
Reading progress within saved materials
Flashcard review history
Quiz performance
Activity heatmap data
Study streaks and milestone achievements
Users may create personal reflections in the Learning Journal including text notes and optional attachments.
When AI-powered features are used, the App may process:
Text prompts submitted to the AI Tutor
Saved articles or notes used to generate summaries or quizzes
Images uploaded for diagram explanation
Study goals used to generate study plans
AI features activate only when the user explicitly requests them.
If you contact support, we receive your email address and any information included in your message.
DeepFocus Study is designed to prioritize local storage whenever possible.
Study materials, notes, flashcards, journals, and progress statistics are stored locally on the user’s device using secure operating system storage mechanisms.
Imported documents and scanned materials remain on the device unless the user chooses to export or share them.
When AI features are used, the specific content required for processing (such as prompts, text passages, or uploaded images) is securely transmitted to external AI processing services. These transmissions occur only when initiated by the user.
Reports, exported flashcards, or saved study summaries are generated locally and shared using the device’s file-sharing system.
Deleting the App removes locally stored data unless the device operating system retains backups.
DeepFocus Study may rely on third-party services for:
AI processing infrastructure used by AI Tutor features
Optical character recognition (OCR) processing
App marketplace distribution
Optional crash diagnostics for improving reliability
These services operate under their own privacy policies.
DeepFocus Study does not integrate advertising networks and does not sell or share user data with advertisers.
Study statistics — including heatmaps, progress charts, spaced repetition scheduling, and quiz performance metrics — are calculated locally on the device.
AI-generated explanations or summaries are created only when the user submits materials through the AI tools.
The App does not track users across other applications and does not collect advertising identifiers.
Diagnostic analytics, if implemented, are limited to improving performance and stability.
Users maintain full control over their study data.
You may:
Edit or delete saved articles or documents
Remove notes, mind maps, or flashcards
Delete journal entries
Clear quiz results and activity history
Remove AI-generated outputs
Permanently erase all stored data by deleting the App
If synchronization or cloud backup features are introduced in the future, users will be provided with clear controls for managing and deleting synchronized data.
DeepFocus Study uses standard security measures including:
Encrypted transmission (HTTPS) for AI requests
Application sandboxing within the device operating system
Local data storage protected by system-level security features
Users are encouraged to enable device passcodes or biometric authentication to further protect personal study materials.
While no system can guarantee absolute security, the App minimizes data exposure by limiting external data transmission.
Future versions of DeepFocus Study may introduce additional capabilities such as:
Cloud backup of study materials
Cross-device synchronization
Collaborative study groups
Integration with educational platforms
Any feature involving external storage or sharing of study materials will require explicit user activation and clear documentation.
DeepFocus Study may be used by students of various ages; however, the App does not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13.
If a parent or guardian believes that a child has provided personal information, they may contact us to request removal.
This Privacy Policy may be updated periodically to reflect new features, technical changes, or regulatory requirements.
Significant updates will be communicated within the App. Continued use of DeepFocus Study after updates indicates acceptance of the revised Policy.
