Privacy Policy for Deepfake Detector

ExtreemTek ("we," "us," or "our") operates the Deepfake Detector mobile application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

By using the App, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

1. Information We Collect

Account Information
When you sign up, we collect your email address and name through Firebase Authentication, using either Email/Password or Google Sign-In.

Content You Submit
When you upload images, videos, audio, or text for analysis, we process that content through our AI detection models to generate a result. This content, along with the detection result (verdict, confidence score, and probability breakdown), is stored and linked to your account so it appears in your Analysis History. You can delete individual history entries or clear your history at any time within the App.

Usage and Device Data
We may collect basic technical information such as device type, operating system, app version, and general usage patterns to help us maintain and improve the App.

Advertising Data
The free version of the App displays ads through Google AdMob, which may collect advertising identifiers and other data to personalize ads, depending on your consent choices.

2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:

• Provide and operate the App's detection features

• Maintain your account and Analysis History

• Process subscription payments through Google Play

• Display and personalize advertising (free version)

• Improve and maintain the App's performance and reliability

3. How We Share Your Information
We do not sell your personal information. We may share information with:

• Service providers — Google Firebase (authentication, backend infrastructure) and Google AdMob (advertising)

• Google Play — for processing subscription payments

• Legal requirements — if required by law or to protect our rights

We do not share the content you upload (images, videos, audio, text) with other users or third parties beyond what's needed to process your request through our detection models.

4. Data Retention
Your uploaded content and detection results are retained as part of your Analysis History until you delete them or delete your account. Account information is retained as long as your account is active.

5. Your Choices
You can:

• Delete individual entries from your Analysis History

• Delete your account, which removes your stored data

• Manage ad personalization preferences within the App and your device settings

• Manage or cancel your subscription through your Google Play account

6. Children's Privacy
The App is not directed to children under 13 (or under 16 in the European Economic Area). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children below this age.

7. Security
We take reasonable measures to protect your information, but no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

8. Third-Party Services
The App uses third-party services (Google Firebase, Google AdMob, Google Play) that have their own privacy policies governing how they handle data.

9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will indicate the date of the latest revision above.
