Introduction
Deep Cleaner (“we”, “us”, “our”, or the “App”) is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, when we share it, and the choices you have. By using the App or our services, you agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy.
Controller and Contact
Controller: Deep Cleaner (operated by the app publisher)
Support email: deepclean.help@outlook.com
Privacy Policy URL: https://sites.google.com/view/deepcleaner-privacy
Scope and Acceptance
This Policy applies to the Deep Cleaner mobile application and any services we provide through it. It does not apply to third‑party services or websites that we do not own or control. By using the App, you accept the practices described here.
Summary — Key Points
On‑device processing: Scans and analysis of your photos and videos are performed locally on your device by default. We do not upload your photos for processing unless you explicitly opt into a feature that requires cloud processing and give separate consent.
Minimal personal data: We collect only the data necessary to operate and improve the App.
You control your data: You can access, delete, or request portability of personal data as described below.
Information We Collect
A. Information processed only on device
Photos, videos, and media metadata (e.g., resolution, file size, timestamp) scanned for duplicate/similarity detection are processed on your device and are not uploaded unless you opt in to cloud backup or cloud features.
B. Information we collect or receive
Analytics and performance data: Anonymous or pseudonymous telemetry about app usage, crash reports, performance metrics, and feature usage. This data helps us improve the App. We attempt to minimize linkage to identifiable individuals.
Device information: Model, operating system version, app version, language settings, and country (derived from device locale or IP).
Purchase and subscription data: Receipt tokens, transaction IDs, subscription status needed to manage purchases. We do not store raw full payment data (credit card numbers).
Optional support data: When you contact support (email), we collect the contents of your request and any attachments you provide to resolve your issue.
C. Third‑party data
If you choose to sign in or share via third‑party services, we may receive basic profile information (name, email) from those services, but only with your explicit permission.
How We Use Information
We use data for the following purposes:
Provide and maintain the App, including scans, cleanups, and in‑app utilities.
Manage subscriptions, trials, and in‑app purchases.
Diagnose and fix technical issues (crash logs and performance data).
Improve features and conduct product analytics.
Provide customer support.
Comply with legal obligations and protect rights or property.
Sharing and Disclosure
We do not sell your personal data.
We may share information in the following limited circumstances:
Service providers: We use third‑party providers for analytics, crash reporting, payment processing, and cloud infrastructure. We only share the data they need to perform their service and require them to protect it.
Legal compliance: When required by law or to respond to legal processes, protect rights, or prevent fraud or abuse.
Business transfers: If we sell or merge all or part of our business, data may be transferred as part of that transaction under confidentiality and privacy protections.
On‑Device Processing & Optional Cloud Features
By default, Deep Cleaner performs media scanning locally. If you enable any cloud backup, synchronization, or optional cloud‑based feature, that feature will upload selected media or metadata to the cloud. We will request explicit consent before enabling any upload. See the in‑app settings and prompts for details.
Data Retention
We retain analytics and support data for a limited period necessary for business or legal purposes and then delete or de‑identify it. We do not retain raw copies of your media unless you explicitly use a cloud backup feature.
Your Rights and Choices
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to:
Access: Request a copy of personal data we hold about you.
Correction: Ask us to correct inaccurate data.
Deletion: Request deletion of personal data we maintain (subject to exceptions like legal compliance).
Portability: Request a machine‑readable copy of data you provided.
Restriction/Objection: Object to certain processing.
To exercise these rights, contact deepclean.help@outlook.com. We may require identity verification before fulfilling requests. We will respond within applicable legal timeframes.
Cookies and Tracking Technologies
We do not use cookies in the traditional browser sense inside the app. We may use similar mobile technologies for analytics (e.g., device identifiers). We follow platform policies (iOS/Android) and respect users’ tracking preferences.
Children
The App is not directed to children under 13 (or higher age depending on local law). We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe we have collected data from a child, contact us and we will remove it.
Security
We use reasonable organizational, technical, and administrative safeguards to protect data. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security of information.
International Data Transfers
If data is transferred outside your country (e.g., for analytics or service providers), we implement appropriate safeguards such as contractual protections.
Changes to this Privacy Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. We will indicate the Effective date at the top and, where required by law, notify you of material changes. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
