I am an Assistant Professor at the Indian Institute of Technology Gandhinagar. Earlier I was a Senior Fellow at EPoD India at Krea University, affiliated with the Economic Growth Center of Yale University. I completed my PhD in Economics from the University of California, Riverside in 2017.

My research, primarily in India and Nepal, tries to understand the ways in which local governments and officials can influence public service deliveries. Some of the dimensions of my research on local governance include structural changes at local level and the role of technology.
