ABOUT ME

Dj Codeine, popularly known as Dj Coda allso Xclusive dj coda, was born on July 22, 1992, and raised in Ikotun–Egbe, Lagos Mainland, Nigeria. Though originally from Oyo State by heritage, his early life and musical journey were shaped in Lagos, where his passion for music began at a young age.

Coda’s musical talent started naturally from childhood. He began as a self-taught instrumentalist, playing the drums, talking drum, and keyboard purely by talent without formal training. His early performances started in church settings, where he developed strong rhythm, timing, and musical discipline. Over time, his talent expanded into parties, social gatherings, and live events, sharpening his understanding of crowd energy and sound control.

Around 2006–2007, driven by passion and natural skill, Coda transitioned fully into DJing, again by talent rather than formal schooling. Since then, he has grown steadily into a professional DJ, known for smooth transitions, crowd reading, and energetic performances.

Specializing in Afrobeats, Amapiano, Hip-Hop, Dancehall, and party mixes, Deejay Codeine brings experience, versatility, and originality to every event. His journey from live instruments to the DJ console gives him a deep musical foundation that reflects in every set he plays.

Today, Deejay Codeine (Coda) continues to deliver unforgettable music experiences for clubs, weddings, parties, and private events, combining talent, professionalism, and a lifelong love for music.
