What is the GDPR?

The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) introduces obligations that will impact companies around the world. This law offers a common framework across the European Union (EU) for organizations exposed to personally identifiable information (PII) relating to individuals located in the EU. The GDPR sets a new level and cost of accountability that all organizations - even those that don't do business in Europe - must pay attention to.

What are Dedi's duties under the GDPR?

  • Obtain appropriate consents for processing data

  • Keep records detailing data processing

  • Train privacy personnel and employees

What are your rights under the GDPR?

You can exercise your rights by submit a request through sending an e-mail to developer.dedi@gmail.com

You, as Dedi user, have the following data protection rights:

  • You can access or request deletion of your personal information by submitting a request through sending an e-mail to developer.dedi@gmail.com

  • You can correct or update your personal information, object to processing of your personal information, ask us to restrict processing of your personal information or request portability of your personal information.

  • You can opt-out of marketing communications we send you by following the instructions in “Opting Out of Promotional Communications from Dedi” in Privacy Policy.

  • If we have collected and processed your personal information with your consent, then you can withdraw your consent at any time. Withdrawing your consent will not affect the lawfulness of any processing we conducted prior to your withdrawal, nor will it affect processing of your personal information conducted in reliance on lawful processing grounds other than consent.

  • You have the right to complain to a data protection authority about our collection and use of your personal information. For more information, please contact your local data protection authority

If you do not want to delete your account, but want to temporarily stop using Dedi games, you may deactivate your account instead and activate your account later.

You can erase your personal data any time. Please be advised that by deleting your personal data, all game progress, and virtual goods or currency paid for and/or earned across ALL Dedi games will be terminated.

Copies of some material (example: log records) may remain in our database but are disassociated from personal identifiers. please visit our Privacy Policy page for further information regarding deletion of your personal data and how to stop communication with you.

Dedi as a data controller

When Dedi collects personal data and determines the purposes and means of processing that personal data – for example, when Dedi stores account information for account registration, administration, services access, or contact information for the Dedi account to provide assistance through Customer Support activities – it acts as a data controller.

We are committed to GDPR compliance across our services and provide GDPR related assurances in our contractual commitments.

Processing According to users consent

Any data that a user put into our systems will only be processed in accordance with the Users’ consent, as described in our current Privacy Policy.

Personnel Confidentiality Commitments

All Dedi’s employees are required to sign a confidentiality agreement and complete mandatory privacy trainings, as well as our Code of Conduct training. Dedi’s Code of Conduct specifically addresses responsibilities and expected behavior with respect to the protection of information.

International Data Transfers

Dedi may share information internally within our family of companies or with third parties for purposes described in this policy. Information collected within the European Economic Area (“EEA”) may, for example, be transferred to countries outside of the EEA for the purposes as described in this policy. We utilize standard contract clauses approved by the European Commission, adopt other means under European Union law, and obtain your consent to legitimize data transfers from the EEA to other countries.

We contractually commit under our current data processing agreements to maintain a mechanism that facilitates transfers of personal data outside of the EU as required by the GDPR.
