Meet Rebecca Finegan

Rebecca Finegan is a Senior Home Coach™, Certified Decluttering Coach, a Certified Aging in Place Specialist, a Reverse Mortgage Specialist, and a licensed Mortgage Loan Originator. She is the owner of Seniors Home Zone, where she guides older adults and their families through the emotional and practical steps of creating safer, simpler, and more manageable homes.

Her passion for this work began long before her certifications. Rebecca spent twelve years caring for her mother, an experience that revealed how overwhelming clutter, unsafe spaces, and difficult decisions can feel. She saw how often families struggle alone, unsure of where to begin or how to move forward. That journey shaped the heart behind everything she does today.

Rebecca’s approach blends practical decluttering support, aging in place guidance, universal design principles, and financial tools such as reverse mortgages that help older adults maintain independence and dignity. She brings clarity, compassion, and a steady presence to each family she serves.

Her mission is to help each family take the next step with confidence, support, and compassion.

Rebecca works with clients locally in Columbia, South Carolina and with families across the country through virtual coaching and consultation.
