Welcome to Declutter: Smart Photo Cleaner (hereinafter referred to as "the App", "we", "us", or "Declutter"). This End User License Agreement (hereinafter referred to as "this Agreement") is a legal agreement between you and us regarding the download, installation, access, and use of the App.
Please read and fully understand all provisions of this Agreement before using the App. By downloading, installing, accessing, or using the App, you are deemed to have read and agreed to be bound by this Agreement. If you do not agree to any provision of this Agreement, please do not install or use the App and uninstall it from your device immediately.
If you obtain the App through the Apple App Store, Apple's Standard End User License Agreement (Standard EULA) also applies. In the event of any conflict between this Agreement and Apple's Standard EULA, Apple's Standard EULA shall prevail.
We may update this Agreement from time to time. Material changes will be notified to you via in-app notices or version update notes. The updated Agreement takes effect from the date of publication, and your continued use of the App constitutes your acceptance of the updated Agreement.
You must have the legal capacity to enter into this Agreement. If you are a minor, please use the App under the guidance and consent of your legal guardian. By using the App, you confirm that you meet the above eligibility requirements.
Subject to your compliance with this Agreement, we grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable license to install and use the App on iOS devices that you own or control, solely for personal, non-commercial purposes.
Except as expressly permitted by law, you shall not:
Copy, modify, adapt, reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or attempt to extract the source code of the App
Bypass any security measures of the App, or access non-public interfaces or data
Rent, lease, sublicense, distribute, transfer, or otherwise commercialize the App
Use the App for any illegal, infringing, harassing, fraudulent, malicious, or otherwise harmful activities
Declutter analyzes your photo library on your device to identify content you may wish to delete — including duplicate photos, similar photos, screenshots, and large videos.
The App processes everything entirely locally on your device — we do not upload, view, or store any of your photos or videos. We do not operate any backend servers, and all your media files remain on your device at all times.
You are solely responsible for the photos and videos in your photo library and the decisions you make to keep or delete them. Cleanup suggestions are based on algorithmic heuristics: the App can identify content that appears to be duplicate, similar, screenshot, or oversized video, but cannot determine the personal value of any photo or video. Please review each suggestion carefully before deletion.
Declutter never deletes any content without your explicit confirmation. Content you mark will remain in your photo library until you confirm deletion in the App's "Pending Deletion" list.
Photos you confirm for deletion are moved to the system "Recently Deleted" album via Apple's PhotoKit framework, where they can be restored within 30 days. After 30 days, the system will permanently delete these items.
We strongly recommend that you back up your photo library via iCloud Photo Library or computer backup before performing large-scale cleanup operations. While Declutter is designed with safety in mind, you are fully responsible for ensuring that important content has been backed up.
The App is designed with a privacy-first philosophy, and all processing is performed locally. We do not collect, upload, or store your photos, videos, or any personally identifiable information.
For details on how we handle your data, please refer to our Privacy Policy (accessible within the App or on our official website). The Privacy Policy is an integral part of this Agreement.
To enable the core functionality of the App, Declutter may use the following system permissions upon your explicit authorization:
Photo Library Access: for scanning and identifying duplicate and similar photos, etc.
Notifications (if applicable): for alerting you when a scan is complete
You may revoke any of these permissions at any time via iOS Settings > Privacy. Revocation may cause the relevant features of the App to function improperly.
The App uses the following Apple services:
App Store: for App distribution
PhotoKit / Photos Framework: for accessing and managing the system photo library
StoreKit: for processing in-app purchases (if any)
These services are governed by Apple's terms and privacy policies.
The App does not use any third-party analytics tools, ad networks, or tracking SDKs. We do not serve any advertisements.
The App may contain links to external websites (such as our official website). We are not responsible for the content or privacy practices of these external websites, and you access them at your own risk.
THE APP IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS, WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we do not warrant that:
The App will meet all your needs or expectations
The App's operation will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free
Any defects or errors in the App will be corrected
The accuracy, completeness, or reliability of the cleanup suggestions
You understand and agree that your use of the App is at your own risk.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, punitive, or consequential damages, including but not limited to:
Losses arising from the use or inability to use the App
Loss of photos, videos, or other data resulting from the App's suggestions or decisions you make based on them
Losses resulting from unauthorized access to or use of your device or data
Any other losses related to the App
In no event shall our total liability to you exceed the amount you have paid for using the App (if applicable). If you use the App for free, we shall have no monetary liability to you.
The App and all its contents, including but not limited to software, code, interface design, icons, text, graphics, logos, etc., are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by copyright laws, trademark laws, patent laws, and other intellectual property laws.
All rights not expressly granted to you under this Agreement are reserved by us.
We may update this End User License Agreement from time to time. We will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. For material changes, we will also notify you via in-app notices or version update notes.
Your continued use of Declutter constitutes your acceptance of the revised Agreement. If you do not agree to the revised Agreement, please stop using and uninstall the App.
The formation, validity, interpretation, performance, and dispute resolution of this Agreement shall be governed by the laws of the People's Republic of China (or the applicable laws of your jurisdiction).
Any dispute arising out of or relating to this Agreement shall first be resolved through friendly negotiation. If negotiation fails, either party has the right to submit the dispute to the competent people's court for litigation.
