In January 2022 I launched a podcast called "Nature Snippets". It consists of short natural history readings and occasional interviews with scientists and other natural historians. It is frequently seasonal and some recent episodes are preoccupied with ice (I wonder why). One episode is a question and answer session among my students and Prof. Doug Tallamy after they read his recent book, "Nature's Best Hope."
My occasional Natural History Blog called "We are not alone" overlaps with and borrows from my essays. I'm devoting more time these days to the podcast, so blog updates will be rare.
Some wiki resources:
Our Vermont EPSCoR iPhone/Android app can be found by searching "macroinvertebrate" and "EPSCoR" in the App Store or on Google Play. The app is a series of site-specific field guides based on content hosted on Wikieducator.
Digital Coyote is a virtual museum collection of coyote, wolf, and domestic dog skulls.
Evelyn Knight and I wrote a paper called "Null models for everyone". If you want to teach using null models you'll need some data sets.
When I offered my course on Biology in Elementary Schools, all student lesson plans were placed on Wikieducator.....and there they remain.
