1st DECIDE Workshop

The Laboratory for Business Decision Making (DECIDE) is pleased to announce its inaugural workshop to be held in Auckland on Friday, 6 July 2018

The workshop brought together prominent speakers who use experimental methods in their research and who have contributed to the field in a variety of ways. Notably, Professor John Ledyard (Caltech) kick-started the workshop in the morning of July 6th. In addition there were presentations by Profs Francis Bloch (Paris School of Economics), Bettina Klaus (HEC Lausanne), Ronald Peeters (Otago), Thomas Pfeiffer (New Zealand Institute for Advanced Study and Massey University) and Matthew Ryan (AUT). Also, among the locals (all based at the University of Auckland), co-Directors of DECIDE Fernando Beltrán and Valery Pavlov, as well as Simona Fabrizi, Steffen Lippert, Sherry Li, and Gavin Northey presented their research involving experimentation. Finally, there was an opportunity to visit the experimental lab on the day, with Addison Pan (Auckland) leading the tour.
