Aggregation across disciplines: connections and frameworks

Wednesday 15 December - Friday 17 December 2021

Location: Maison Internationale de la Recherche

CY Cergy Paris Université, Neuville-sur-Oise

Summary

Aggregation is a core concern in a variety of related disciplines, including Voting, Judgement Aggregation, Belief Aggregation, Participatory Budgeting, and Representative Democracy. Within those fields, a variety of aggregation procedures have been proposed, each with desirable and undesirable properties. This interdisciplinary workshop will seek insights, common themes and unifying principles across disciplines and across procedures.
