Hello, Decatur FFA! My name is Marley Ballard and I am your 2025-2026 Chapter President. In the fall I compete in the Job Interview and Agricultural Advocacy LDEs followed by Poultry Judging in the Spring. Throughout the year both inside and outside of FFA, I compete in public speaking and other academic extracurriculars. I am a cheerleader at DHS and love to make people smile. FFA is my passion and I am dedicated to making our chapter a family where everyone feels welcome!
Hey guys! My name is Emma Crabtree and I am your 2025-2026 Vice President! In the fall, I participate in the Creed Speaking LDE. In the spring, I do the Poultry Judging CDE, show market broilers and participate in Senior Prepared Public Speaking. Outside of FFA, I compete in UIL Academics, am the Editor-in-Chief of the school newspaper, and am the Advertising Manager for the yearbook department. At home you can find me reading a good book or watching a funny movie. I can't wait to serve every single one of you and I KNOW this will be a great year!
Hello everyone, my name is Cambrie Byford, and I will be serving as your 2025-2026 Decatur FFA Secretary. I love our chapter with everything in me and am highly involved. I compete on our Chapter Conducting LDE team and our Range and Forage CDE teams. Outside of FFA, I competitively ride and show horses in the show jumping ring, while also finding plenty of time to spend with my friends and family. I cannot wait for this year. I am so excited to see the amazing things our chapter will accomplish!
Hey! I am Hylie Hunter, a junior at DHS who brings a wealth of experience and a genuine passion for agriculture and is honored to be serving as your current Decatur FFA Treasurer. I have been an active member of 4-H and FFA for seven years, holding various chapter and 4H offices and competing in numerous CDEs and LDEs. My main passion lies in my SAE project of showing swine year round. I believe in inspiring the next generation of agricultural leaders, empowering all members to grow and succeed. I am also committed to increasing membership, involvement and strengthening chapter programs. I can’t wait to see what is in store for Decatur FFA this year!
Hello! My name is Alissa Butler, and I am a senior at Decatur High School. I have been part of FFA since 8th grade, and I am your 2025-2026 Decatur Chapter FFA Reporter. Although I show Beefmaster cattle, my true passion is for Texas Longhorns. For the past eight years, I have shown, trained, bred, judged and processed Texas Longhorns. Currently, I am the International Texas Longhorn Association Youth President and the East Texas Longhorn Association Youth President. I enjoy mentoring others for showmanship, halter breaking calves and helping others build their beef herds. When not pursuing agricultural endeavors, I attend church and enjoy spending time with family, friends and my pets.
Hey y’all! My name is Madison Lauchner, and I am so excited to be your 2025-2026 Sentinel!! I love this organization wholeheartedly, and what I get to do in it even more. If I’m not walking my pigs, you will see me on the Public Relations team or on the Nursery/ Landscape team. I am also in both the show and chamber choir at school. I love everything I do, and I am so incredibly grateful to be a part of this great organization and help lead this chapter to success!
Howdy! I’m Ethan Briseno, your 2025-2026 Advisor, reporting for duty! When I’m not walking my oinkers or studying parliamentary procedure, you’ll find me judging dirt for Homesite Spring CDE’s. I enjoy running to McDonald’s with our Vice President, and have already started looking forward towards our next FFA trip! I can’t wait to see you at the monthly meetings, in the barn, or while strolling the Ag building. I’m proud to serve and be a leader for the Decatur FFA Chapter!
