Our solution is better than the other solutions in the status quo because of the relatively small cost of fuel. Cause all we need are the rocket boosters, it's less expensive then putting an entire one-use claw into space.
For example, 500kg takes around 50kg of rocket fuel to deorbit, which is only a few thousand dollars of actual fuel. Getting the rocket into space though, will take more money. However, using SpaceX’s rideshare program, it only costs 5000 per kg, meaning getting 200kg worth of deorbit rockets will only cost a million dollars. ESA’s claw on the other hand, costs 1 million per kg of debris.
