Biochemistry: Mammalian tissue Culture, protein expression/purification, protein characterization techniques (SDS PAGE, qualitative and quantitative Western Blotting), Cell Staining, lipid extraction from cells, TLC and HPTLC, Metabolic labeling.
Biophysical Chemistry: Protein–protein interactions, lipid–protein interactions, lipid-Cyclodextrin interactions, drug-protein and drug-lipid interactions, working with model biomimicking membranes such as vesicles, micelles and reverse micelles.
Instrumentation: UV - Visible absorption, Steady state and time resolved fluorescence, Steady state and time resolved anisotropy, Kinetics, Circular Dichroism, Dynamic Light Scattering, Fluorescence Microscopic Imaging.
