Born in Bauru (São Paulo) Débora Neves is an artist, singer and composer.
She holds a licentiate degree in Music by Universidade Metropolitana de Santos (UNIMES) and is specialized in Classical singing performance at Coletivo das Artes (FABRAS).
She studied classical singing at EMESP Tom Jobim Music Conservatory under the tutoring of Marta Dalila Mauler (2020-2023) and also at Escola Municipal de Música de São Paulo (EMMSP) under the tutoring of Andrea Kaiser (2020 - still going).
In 2019, she was a finalist in the reality show "Canta Comigo" (Sing along) produced by Record Television. (Link here)
In 2021 she released an Extended Play (EP) called "Terapia", containing 5 original songs. (Link here)
In 2022 she was selected to play the role of Susanna in Mozart's "Le Nozze di Figaro" Opera at th EMMSP Opera Studio directed by Marcelo Ferreira, Keila Bueno and Márcio Gomes at Theatro Municipal de São Paulo. (Link here)
In 2023 she was awarded with a student scholarship to be part of the Opera Academy of Theatro São Pedro, in São Paulo.
In june 2023 she performed in André Mehmari's Opera "O Machete" as the character "amiga" (friend) at Theatro São Pedro. (Link here)
In July 2023 she was selected to star the Ethel Smyth's Opera "Fête Galante" being awarded to a participation scholarship during the Vitoria Opera Studio Festival in Vitória, Espírito Santo, Brazil. In this Opera she performed as Columbine, Harlequin and Chorus.
In October 2023 she was a semifinalist at the classical music competition "Prelúdio" promoted by Cultura Television. (Link here)
In November 2023, she performed in Schubert's Opera "Die Verschworenen" as "Isella" at Theatro São Pedro. (Link here)
In April 2024 she won the "Toriba Musical" prize at the 22nd Maria Callas Brazilian Singing Competition in São Paulo, Brazil.
In June 2024 she performed as "Ciboulette" in Offenbach's operetta "Mesdames de la Halle" at Theatro São Pedro. (Link here)
She won 1st place in the 18 to 25 age category at the Natércia Lopes Lyrical Singing Competition, in Vitória (ES), in September 2024.
In October 2024, she took part in the lyrical show "O Grão da Voz", with the special participation of Bruno de Sá (sopranist), under the artistic direction of Ligiana Costa and musical direction by André dos Santos. (Link here)
